• Clarity FI - Clarity FI is a business consulting and management services firm that helps organizations chart the clearest path to success. They partner with management to optimize customer experience, product pricing, and employee and customer engagement to produce tangible, achievable results. The bottom line? They you streamline operations, reduce expenses, and help your profits soar. To help do that they need a great Web site, and Simpler Computing provided the solution. We based their site on Wordpress, created a totally custom theme complete with a rollover navigation bar, integrated custom code that automatically inserts the approach image on every page to help get their marketing message across. Then end result is clean, professional, and conveys a strong marketing message through a visually pleasing Web site. Have a look at the home page or one of the numerous subpages.
• Engage Network - The Engage Network needed a new flashy Web site that combines stunning graphics with easy navigation. The developers teamed with Simpler Computing! to get the job done. Once again we teamed with designer Theo Rodriguez, who provided the incredible graphics, to build a professional platform based on Wordpress. The results are visually pleasing and communicate the goals of Engage Network in a clear and concise manner. • Mark Jenkins - Lifestyle Coach and Master Trainer - Mark is master at getting people in shape. He’s worked with people such as superstars Beyonce, Missy Elliot, Sean Combs, P. Diddy, and many others. When it came time to put a polished Web site online Mark’s crew teamed with Simpler Computing! Working with graphics designer Theo Rodriguez, Simpler Computing created a top notch Wordpress template along with custom scripts for collecting contact information. Mark’ requirement was that his site be ready in a matter of days, right before his appearance on the Good Morning America TV show. We met his schedule with no problem at all. • CJ Coolidge - CJ is an expert in maximizing employee creativity, which in turn helps further build company productivity and profits. When CJ needed a new site to feature his talents and capabilities he turned to Simpler Computing! to meet his needs. CJ had previously contracted with a professional graphics designer to create the overall site layout along with its look and feel. We then took that design and turned it into a fully functional Wordpress template complete with custom graphics and some bells and whistles, such as auto-scrolling marquee boxes that feature quotes from CJ’s customers and readers of his book. We also integrated a RSS feed backend that pulls content from CJ’s other sites, and more. Check out the screenshot of CJ’s site right now.
• Kineda - This site is owned and operated by an entrepreneur in California. He wanted to add a fantastic new feature to the site called Lookbook where members can upload fashion-related photos, rate those photos, post comments about the photos, have their own galleries, and sort photos based on a variety of criteria. We designed a set of highly customized plugins that make it all possible.
• Shift Selling - This site owned by sales entrepreneur and trainer Craig Elias is based on the Unsleepable theme. Craig wanted numerous changes made to the theme to bring it to the cutting edge of Web site functionality. Numerous plugins were added to achieve Craig’s goals. A forum was tightly integrated into Wordress for Craig and his associates to share and discussion aspects of successful sales.
• Corporate Sales Challenge - Another project led by Craig Elias, Corporate Sales Challenge is based on Wordpress. Simpler Computing! modified Craig’s template to match the logo color scheme and modified the overall functionality to use a static home page.
• cook eat FRET - We’ve customized an existing installation of Wordpress for cook and columnist Claudia Young, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee. The original Cutline template was extensively modified and plugins were added to arrive at the functionality desired by Ms. Young.
• Red Pill Press - Red Pill Press (RPP) is an independent book publisher located in Canada. Simpler Computing! worked with RPP’s graphics designers to build the company’s 3 worldwide e-commerce stores where they now offer their complete line of books for sale to people on all continents.
• Signs of the Times - Signs of the Times is a high traffic alternative news outlet. Simpler Computing! helped build the server infrastructure that delivers content to countless numbers of readers each month. The project involved building and securing the server platforms from the ground up, including custom Linux kernels and a complete Apache Web platform driven by PHP, Ruby on Rails, and MySQL Server.
• Maui’d Forever - Maui’d Forever is one of the Hawaiian Islands’ premier wedding coordinators. Simpler Computing! installed a complete blogging plaltform based on Wordpress and seemlessly integrated the blog into the site’s exiting template.
• H y k o o - This is the dream project of a gentleman from New York. The site is intended to become a cross between Craig’s List and MySpace. Simpler Computing! developed dozens of plugins to turn Wordpress MU into a complete multi-city classified advertising platform where registered users also have their own profile page along with other features found on popular social networking sites. Simpler Computing! spent hundreds of hours developing custom code to meet exact specifications. Our work is mostly done on the project, however the site is not online yet. The owner is working with potential investors and finalizing his launch plans.
• The Coffee House Letter - We help marketing entrepreneur Morgan McArthur integrate added functionality into his Web sites to better facilitate customer communication and an easier newsletter subscription process.
• Backyard Gardener - Duncan McAlpine is deeply interested in gardening and landscaping. When he was building his Garden Ideas Web site he chose Simpler Computing! to create the complete aggregation backend, which helps Duncan pull in countless valuable gardening articles from all over the Internet to create a useful consolidated resource for his readers.
• Dear Author - When the operators of Dear Author were building their list of regular visitors who each enjoy romance novels they realized that having a way for readers to save data about upcoming books was vital. Simpler Computing! created a custom plugin for the site that lets registered users click a link to store all the relevant details about a book in their user profile. Readers can then reference their profile to find new releases to purchase. Simpler Computing also created a custom plugin that integrates directly with Amazon.com’s API to automate extracting book data and inserting it into new posts at the site. The data extracted from Amazon includes author information, ISBN numers, publisher information, expected release dates, and more.
